Paragon II is a Cat5 KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) solution that provides up to 64

users with secure, non-blocked access and control of data center devices. It’s rich suite

of management features enables logging and audit trails, system-wide reset from a user

station and a single, consolidated view of all connected devices.

Plus it can be tiered and enhanced with optional memory cards that scale up to

thousands of servers to dramatically reduce costs of data center equipment and rack

space.

The industry’s best video performance

Paragon II offers the industry’s best video quality with resolutions as high as 1920 x

1440 at distances of up to 300 meters at refresh rates of 60 Hz, and 1600 x 1200 at

distances greater than 300 meters at refresh rates of 60 Hz, 75 Hz and 85 Hz.

Multiple Video enables up to four user stations to simultaneously receive the video

output of a server that has multiple video ports. And Video Redirect provides easy

redirection of video to any user station within a Paragon II system – a natural fit for

NOC displays, video walls, broadcast control rooms and more.

With Paragon’s Enhanced User Station (P2-EUST), Paragon II also supports both

manual and automatic video tuning and skew compensation, allowing administrators to

save time on server setup and fine-tune the video signal as desired.

New, integrated smart card reader for enhanced security

Organizations that are concerned with security require standard and secure ways for

IT professionals to access critical information. Paragon II now offers multifactor

authentication access with smart card technology, which enhances the organization’s

security approach and increases staff productivity by simplifying administrative tasks.

Partnering with SCM Microsystems, a leading supplier of standards-compliant smart

card readers, Raritan integrated the SCM reader into Paragon II Enhanced User

Station (model number P2-EUST/C).

Flexibility and scalability built in

Paragon II offers great flexibility and manageability through access to leading servers

- including IBM BladeCenters

- power strips and other IT devices.

Optional KVM-over-IP access is available for remote access along with centralized

management through Raritan’s Paragon II System Controller and CommandCenter

Secure Gateway.
